We are delighted to share with you the tremendous success of our June 2023 Marriage Prep Retreat hosted by the San Francisco Catholic Engaged Encounter (SFCEE). Over the course of a memorable weekend, 20 engaged couples gathered together to invest in their future and lay the foundation for a strong and fulfilling marriage. It was a truly transformative experience for all involved.
The retreat was made possible by the dedicated efforts of our incredible SFCEE volunteers who presented and hosted the weekend. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dave and Lorraine Hayes, Ziv and Marianne Tepman, as well as Akaash and Kate Gupta for their unwavering commitment and selfless contributions. Their passion for fostering healthy and thriving marriages shone through in every aspect of the retreat.
Throughout the weekend, the engaged couples were immersed in a variety of thought-provoking sessions, interactive discussions, and meaningful activities. They delved deep into crucial topics such as effective communication, intimacy, conflict resolution, financial planning, and the role of faith in their relationship. Guided by the experienced facilitators, the couples gained valuable insights, discovered new perspectives, and acquired practical tools to navigate the ups and downs of married life.
The atmosphere was filled with love, support, and genuine connection. Engaged couples were able to engage in open and honest conversations with one another, allowing them to understand each other on a deeper level.
